Our work is organized around five interconnected programs. Together they address the causes of conflict and help communities recover, grow stronger and take part in public life.
Peace, conflict resolution, and development in Sudan & Horn of Africa.
HAPCRD is a national organization founded in March 12 2021 in Khartoum , Sudan dedicated to advancing sustainable peace, inclusive conflict resolution, and equitable development across Sudan th HAPCRD works in contexts affected by protracted conflict, political instability, displacement, and humanitarian crises, where communities— particularly women, youth, and marginalized groups—are often excluded from decision-making processes that shape their futures. The organization responds to these challenges by promoting locally led, rights-based, and gender-responsive approaches to peacebuilding, humanitarian action, and development.
Peace Is Stronger When Everyone Has a Seat at the Table.
Years of conflict have displaced families, disrupted schools, damaged water systems and cut people off from their livelihoods. Humanitarian aid saves lives, but aid alone cannot end the cycle of crisis. Lasting change needs local leadership, fair political processes and communities that are able to speak for themselves.
HAPCRD stands at this intersection of political change, humanitarian need and human rights. We bring the experiences of ordinary people into the rooms where policies are written, negotiations take place and humanitarian plans.
